Discovered eLearning resources, eTc?

Early phase teachers in Education Queensland schools can access fully planned units of work in Maths and English, complete with all necessary resources and addressing the Essential Learnings of QCAR, in the electronic teaching collection (eTc). Units are being added continually. The Maths program for Years 1-2, offering 32 units per year level is complete. Each unit has an investigation that could be used as an assessment task and resources including learning objects and online tools like graph makers and number expanders. eTc is available only to Education Queensland staff and students.

Used our images?

Black-and-white drawings and colour photographs are in Image bank – over 3000 separate items in nearly 1000 topic pages. Don’t fuss over copyright or creating your own graphics ever again.

Joined in an online event?

Christmas around the World is coming up – your students can rap, chat or blog about books, film or music. Students participate in mystery quiz chats and chats with Santa. It’s all happening in this cross-cultural extravaganza!

Brushed up on Numeracy?

The Numeracy Gateway is being continually updated. Five fact sheets with simple, vital information have recently been added.

Located a great learning object?

Search TLF learning objects for Pirate treasure hunt: eight challenges to engage students – for younger students or Seasons: daylight hours: assessment for older ones.
